KENTECH Consulting Inc.’s First Student Marketing Campaign Competition


Enough sitting in classrooms studying marketing plans other people have executed--this is your chance to gain meaningful experience to enhance your resume while also expanding your network with a local Chicago company. It is you and/or your t
eam against other Chicago college students to see who can develop the best marketing campaign for a new cutting-edge technological product.


For the first time, KENTECH Consulting Inc., an award winning background checking solutions company is putting the marketing of one its new products in the hands of students.


The competition is free and open to undergraduate and graduate students of all majors. You may enter as an individual or a group of 2-4 individuals.


In order to participate, students must register by April 28, 2013. After registering, students will be given a target market to focus on. Also, more information surrounding the product itself and past market research gathered will be provided.


TOP THREE SUBMISSIONS:


The top three submissions will have the opportunity to present their ideas to the CEO and executives of Kentech Consulting, Inc., a nationally recognized IT company.


FIRST PLACE PRIZE:


  • A $500.00 cash prize for the winning team.

  • In addition to cash prize, individual’s of top three teams are eligible for a paid internship and real life budget to implement a campaign during the Summer of 2013. Three internship positions are available.


SCHOOLS INVITED TO COMPETE:


Columbia College Chicago, DePaul University, Loyola University Chicago, University of Illinois-Chicago, University of Chicago, Roosevelt University, North Park University, and Northwestern University and other various Chicagoland colleges.
